Friday Morning Musicale, a community center and theatre, is housed in a Mediterranean-style building that was built in 1926.

Driving Directions

Directions from Brandon and points south (or easy toll route from Orlando/Lakeland):

(with toll) - From Orlando, Take I-4 west toward Tampa, then go south on I-75 to Brandon. Drive west on the Crosstown (Lee Roy Selmon) Expressway, which is a toll road. Take Exit 5 (Hyde Park / Davis Islands) immediately past downtown Tampa, and proceed straight through the first two traffic signals right after the toll booth. Turn left under the expressway at the third light (Boulevard) and proceed straight through the light at Platt (a one-way street). When you reach the MacDill Credit Union on the right, begin looking for Horatio St., about a block later on the left. Turn left on Horatio; the Friday Morning Musicale is on the left just before the next intersection.

Directions via I-275 (no toll):

Directions without toll - from Orlando/Lakeland, Take I-4 west toward Tampa, then I-275 south when I-4 ends. Take the Ashley/Downtown West exit (25) just southwest of the junction of I-4 and I-275. At the first light (Tyler), turn right and then move quickly into one of the left two lanes, which become Cass St. and cross a bridge over the Hillsborough River. Turn left onto N. Boulevard (the first main road past the river), and proceed past the University of Tampa, through the intersection at Kennedy Blvd., under the Crosstown Expressway, and through the light at Platt. When you reach the MacDill Credit Union on the right, begin looking for Horatio St., about a block later on the left. Turn left on Horatio; the Friday Morning Musicale is on the left just before the next intersection.

Directions from Pinellas via Gandy Bridge (toll):

After the Gandy Bridge, take the Crosstown East to Exit 4 and proceed east on Platt St. - turn right at a traffic signal onto N. Boulevard (gas station on the opposite right corner). When you reach the MacDill Credit Union on the right, begin looking for Horatio St., about a block later on the left. Turn left on Horatio; the Friday Morning Musicale is on the left just before the next intersection.

From South Tampa:

Take Swann east toward downtown through the Hyde Park shopping district, and turn left on Boulevard. After a few blocks, turn right on Horatio (just past Gorrie Elementary). The Friday Morning Musicale is on the left just before the next intersection.
